The good thing about using a silver cloth to clean your tortoise jewelry is that the silver cloth could remove the any tarnish that could damage the tortoise stone. If you cannot find any silver cloth to clean your tortoise jewelry, you can just use a soft cloth with a small amount of water and then polish the stone. Do not use any soap or harsh chemicals on your tortoise jewelry because this could case some damage.
After polishing your tortoise jewelry with damp clothe, wipe it will soft dry clothe. Do not leave any moisture in the jewelry. To be sure that all moisture is gone before you store, let the jewelry dry naturally before you put it back in the safe.

Do not stone your tortoise jewelry together with other hard gems especially diamonds because the friction of the stones could leave some scratches on the tortoise. If you need to put some pieces of jewelries together in one place, you better wrap them individually with cotton clothe and put them in individual zip-on bags before putting them together in the safe. Do not take chances when it comes to your jewelries especially those precious tones.
